  • Manage all supply chain activities at the distribution center level including - Product life cycle management, Maintenance of enterprise asset, Production lines and logistics.
  • Develop and Implement logistics process, freight management and shipment of products.
  • Oversee all transportation of goods from production site to client.
  • Ensure proper standard and procedures are followed within the Distribution center including:
    • Schedule pick up delivery and distribution of products and materials.
    • Forecast peak delivery periods and workforce planning.
    • Devise routes for shipments.
    • Deploy truck drivers.
    • Monitor progress of major shipments to ensure receipt.
    • Ensure goods are stored properly and at the right temperature
    • Ensure inventory maintains optimal level
    • Follow good manufacturing and food safety programs implemented by HOS
    • Perform weekly cycle counts at the warehouse
    • Ensure the proper use of all tools and systems (WMS)
  • Knowledge of warehouse management system FIFO and ageing inventory.
  • Expert knowledge on warehouse management systems including Navision
  • Responsible for cycle counts and inventory management.
  • Travel up to 25%, occasionally working evenings and weekends as needed for special assignments.

Required Education and Experience

  • 3 or more years of experience in MS- Office Excel
  • Knowledge and understanding of operational best practices, with a focus on manufacturing/distribution industry a plus
  • Hindi Speaking Preferred

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies promptly and professionally, maintaining positive vendor relationships.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of accounts payable reports, including aging reports, accruals, and other relevant financial data.
  • Conduct regular analysis of accounts payable data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements in all accounts payable activities.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud or errors in the accounts payable process.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, finance, and operations, to support company-wide initiatives and ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on accounts payable matters, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial role, with 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Microsoft Dynamics 365 NAV and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
